How does it work?
The process is simple:
1) Register to become a member, it's free!
2) discover events near you and apply to attend
3) Undergo our personal matchmaking service by us (Kristin and Fabienne)
4) Once you have been matched and selected to join a dinner event, you will receive a confirmation email and details of how to pay - payment to be made at least 6 days before the dinner to guarantee a place
6) A final confirmation email complete with address and venue details will be sent 3 days before the dinner
7) Enjoy an unforgettable evening!
How does the matchmaking process work?
We (Kristin & Fabienne) will personally match you with a prospective dinner date based on expressed preferences like age, interests & passions, expectations, and all the other important information that you share with us when you become register to become a member. So, the more fields you fill out in our questionnaire, the better we can get to know you and the better we will be able to find your perfect match.
How many people usually attend a typical dinner?
The number of people will depend from the capacity of the venue. Each dinner event advertised on the website will specify the number of participants.
Exclusive dinner party events cater for anything from a cosy 8 to a lively dinner party of 30 guests.
Alongside the diners, we also organise specific bespoke events for our members where you will encounter many more people at special parties or Come Together drinks.
What is the price for a dinner?
The price will vary depending of the location, the number of participants & the chef. Average price is 70 EUR per person.
What is included in the price of a dinner?
The price includes the venue, food & drinks and of course, last but not least the matchmaking. Please check out the detailed fiches of the different dinners for more specific details.
What kind of evening can I expect?
Unlike a typical dinner date, you won’t be seated at a table with the same persons the whole evening! We will create moments for you be in contact with all the participants of the dinner. So expect walking dinners and nice buffet meals. Of course, we know that you don’t appreciate that lovely food standing, so we’ll foresee some nice cosy corners where you can comfortably sit.
Who are the chefs?
We love good, healthy and original fare. So you can expect food from all over the world prepared by our chefs who are carefully selected by us. So alongside the possibilities for new connections, you will also discover upcoming cooking talent, presenting you not only their specialties but also the latest cooking trends.
Where will the dinners take place?
We promise no restaurants, bars or hotels and ONLY the most exclusive
hard-to-access locations you can imagine. Think art galleries, fancy pop-up locations, exclusive private apartments or the atelier of a cook, ...
Currently dinner events are planned for Brussels and Ghent.
How can I see the list of all dinner events?
First you need to register & become a member. Once you’ve received a membership confirmation email from us, you can login to our website and discover all upcoming events.
Which age is targeted?
We are aiming our events at people aged 30 and over. But as most people like to meet people with the same experience and expectations, for each dinner the target age will be mentioned.
Some evenings - like our Come-Together drinks - will be open for everyone, l. Others will also be organised around particular age groups, so always check out our website for the upcoming events & details.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course, your (single) friend can also apply to join. But we can’t guarantee that they will be matched to the same events as you if we find a more suitable match for them elsewhere.
Which languages will be spoken?
We welcome all languages! But as we know your language preference from your questionnaire, we’ll of course make sure that your perfect match speaks the same language as you!
Can I see the list of other dinner participants or members?
Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. So while we respect the privacy of our members and will not share your details, you can of course chose to share your personal contact details at one of our dinners.
What happens if there was no perfect match for me at the dinner I selected?
If that happens you will receive an email from us to let you know though we we will certainly do our ultimate best to find your soulmate at another dinner.
What if I need to cancel my presence at a dinner?
In order to confirm your presence, we will collect payment no less than 6 days before the evening. Should you need to cancel less than 6 days before the event and after you have pre-paid then unfortunately we won’t be able to refund you the money. We would be happy to offer you a 25% you a discount on your next dinner however.
Do I need to pay to become a member?
No :-) ! All memberships registered before 31/12/2017 are FREE!
Can I make some nice suggestions?
We love crazy, good and new ideas. So if you have a beautiful, extraordinary place for the dinners, or you know the best cook ever, we are all ears. Just drop us an email.
